On Thursday, the 25th of June I was asked to open for an acoustic set performed by none other than Tim Wheeler, the lead singer of popular 90s BAND Ash, who just the previous week had opened the Isle of Wight festival and before that the Download festival. So a superstar, essentially, and playing at The Crystal Ship in Earith – a tap room pub associated with the Papworth Brewery.

I had an half hour set and managed to play ten songs to a very receptive and supportive audience of about 100 people – a fantastic experience.

Some clips of Tim playing are below and a couple of pictures of me with the man himself.
